As we say goodbye to Michael Cacioppo (Publisher of Business Briefs), I am fulfilling a promise to continue his legacy of providing a voice to those who are unheard, and the small businesses that support this community and great nation.

I have registered the “Rocky Mountain News” with the Colorado Secretary of State, to begin publishing this fall. While I am clearing any potential legal conflicts in reviving the publication, I am honored to continue its great heritage of being the “Scrappy Rocky” which was Colorado’s first newspaper and endured 150-years. We aim to honor its reputation.

We will begin publication in Vail, then expand to include other mountain communities, which will bring back memories of its rugged beginnings.

Join us in making history this fall! We are seeking contributors, advertisers, and sponsors who believe that Colorado history has inspired a nation, and the best is yet to come.

Absolutely true! Taking calculated risks happen all the time, and some decisions could truly result in death... for example, going 50MPH down a road, where only a thin line of paint is all that separates you from a head-on collision, likely resulting in death, yet you do it every day, without thought.

It’s time to conquer fear and venture back out to normalcy. Don’t let your parents and grandparents die alone. They faced wars, disease, and economic depressions, yet kept on going, and they did it for you. They deserve your companionship and a degree of comfort, in their old age. Don’t be afraid to give them the hug and love they need... and you need it, too!

A group of residents at a Colorado nursing and rehabilitation home held a demonstration protesting state regulations that bar them from hugging their family members during the coronavirus pandemic.

COVID-19 Crisis Management for Government Offices/Agencies

Working with government offices and agencies on establishing a balance between exercising essential pandemic precautions, in addressing the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, with the financial necessities of maintaining viable solutions for economic stability within each state and county, to eliminate undo hardships and the potential societal crisis that may ensue. This week's column. Disappointed in the huge group of Democrat candidates... that none provided any original thought on today's most pressing issues; and while all were critical of the current administration, none provided any viable/sustainable solutions, nor have they used their prior/current political status to incorporate any of the policies they propose. Innovative ideas require, bringing something useful to the table of political discourse.

In my last article, I wrote about how many talk blue (Liberal) but live red (Conservative). Our idealistic selves have a vision where all of our essential needs are met, everyone shares, rainbows fill the...
