September is National Preparedness Month!

This year’s theme, “Americans Stand Ready,” is a reminder that preparedness starts with the steps we take before an emergency happens, from knowing the risks in your community and making a family emergency plan to building a supply kit and knowing how you’ll stay connected when it matters most.

Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing tips, resources, and reminders to help individuals and communities be ready for the unexpected.

Players must make quick decisions in the face of three natural disasters: a blizzard, wildfire, and flood. Complicating their quest, a mysterious guide weaves twists and turns along the way.

Our annual Ethics and Security Learning Day brings employees together to strengthen awareness of ethics, security, and professional responsibilities across the organization.

In addition to our required training sessions, employees participated in targeted learning sessions and workshops focused on emerging technologies, effective communication, and internal professional development initiatives. These sessions fostered knowledge sharing, skill development, and collaboration across consulting levels.

We’re excited to share that we’re hosting our second annual donation drive for the Humane Rescue Alliance!

HRA relies on donated supplies to help care for animals and support pet owners throughout our community. If you have any new or gently used items at home that you no longer need, consider donating them to this meaningful organization!

You can view HRA’s current list of needed and accepted supplies here: https://www.humanerescuealliance.org/donate-supplies

Every donation, big or small, can help make a difference for animals in need.

There are a lot of ways to give to the Humane Rescue Alliance, and donating much needed supplies is always appreciated. You could also consider hosting a supply drive at your school, business, or organization. Contact us for more information.

As students head back to the classroom this week, we're inspired by efforts from Women Giving Back to help young learners start the year prepared and confident. Their recent back-to-school initiative provided 195 local students with new backpacks filled with school supplies and new shoes, with additional distributions continuing throughout the month.

Wishing students, families, and educators a successful school year ahead!
