We can’t stop thinking about the woman that walked into our last happy hour… it was her first networking event for her new business venture. She was anxious walking in alone. There was a huge look of relief on her face when we let her know nearly all the women there had come solo, too.
It takes a lot of guts to walk into a room you know nothing about and know no one. It takes even more guts to step out on the ledge and start your own business.
Afterwards, she shared this:
“You were absolutely right, it was one of the most comfortable and welcoming networking events I’ve attended. Walking into a room solo can definitely feel intimidating, but the atmosphere you created made it easy to connect and have genuine conversations.”
