📖 The PEFA Gender eLearning Course is now live on the World Bank Group Open Learning Campus!

🎉The PEFA Secretariat is pleased to announce the launch of its free, self-paced eLearning course "Introducing the PEFA Gender Framework: Assessing Gender Responsiveness in Public Financial Management", now available to learners worldwide through the World Bank Group Open Learning Campus (OLC).

📙This course introduces the PEFA Gender Supplementary Framework (GRPFM), the internationally recognized, evidence-based, structured methodology to assess how effectively gender considerations are integrated into PFM systems.

📚In approximately an hour, participants will gain a good understanding of the framework's principles, structure, and application, and will receive an official certificate of completion.

➡️PEFA is not just a PFM Diagnostic tool to be used in PFM reforms – PEFA assessments are a source of data for rigorous analytical research.

📃A new article published in Public Money and Management by Artur Tamazian, Arman Vatyan, Khuram Farooq, and Davit Melikyan is an example of this.

🔬Drawing from 185 national PEFA assessments across 103 countries, the authors use PEFA data to examine the institutional mechanisms through which public financial management shapes governance outcomes that offer evidence-based insights for reform prioritization.

As we celebrate 25 years of PEFA, we are pleased to share this video, produced by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) following the PEFA 25 Year Celebrations week and events held in Manila in June 2026.

📚From June 29 to July 1, PEFA Secretariat team was in the Caribbean to deliver a PEFA Flagship Training in St. Kitts and Nevis for the Caribbean’s First Dedicated Platform for Collaboration among Accountant Generals!

🌎54 delegates from 19 countries participated in the event, as part of Caribbean Accountant General Network (CAGN) Roundtable, held at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and culminated in the historic launch of the Network.
