It does not take a coffee shop owner or a rocket scientist to make a pot of coffee. But there are some things that just won’t happen other own - some action is required...

I came back to get my coffee and I was surprised that the water had not miraculously poured itself over the top. ADD? Sleep deprived? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Timing is everything. The idea for Exit 11 was started in 2001. It was 14 years before the dream became a reality and then three years later in 2018 that it became the start of where we are today. Sometimes you don’t end up where you thought you would, but it’s a much better destination.

This is so fun, cool, humbling and exciting! I have been a fan of the St. Louis Small Business Monthly for decades - back when Judy Meador owned it. Now Ron Ameln and crew are making great things happen and honoring / acknowledging the accomplishments of some great small businesses and individuals in the St. Louis area throughout the year.

This time they recognized the Top Women Business Owners and picked me as one of them! And they put me on the cover!!! Holy Cow! Thanks to ALL of the Exit 11 Coffee lovers and supporters out there. We would not and could not grow if you didn't show up every day. Our team that serves you and the team that works at the home office is dedicated to making you all happy.

Recognition like this makes all the hard work worth it. OH - probably the MAIN reason your coffee, syrup, food and service is so outstanding is because my husband Scott is in the field every day making sure it all works!

Grand daughter Isabel attended the award ceremony today for Top Business Women in St.Louis put on by Small Business Monthly. What an honor to be selected ❤️ and to have her and her mama there.

"Being comfortable is how great people plateau."

I love this. I always tell my kids and team "if you're not growing you're dying. In order to grow, you need to change. Change is uncomfortable. So get used to being uncomfortable." Not sure who's quote that is, but it's been a powerful one for me.

I got to see all three grand babies yesterday. Today I did a grandma thing and made chocolate chip cookies for no good reason.
