Another encapsulation completed. Customer had laminate floors that where separating. He is hoping by drying out his timbers slowly, that some of the separation will lessen. I have seen flooring do some remarkable things once the crawlspace has been encapsulated and I have seen them do nothing. There is never a guarantee on any changes to flooring, just hope.

Today we Installed a wall mounted dehumidifier in a home that was just too low for anyone to crawl. The humidity inside was not being controlled by two of their air-conditioners. As soon as the unit was turned on, everything changed. The humidity started dropping.

This is what happens when you do not have your crawlspace dehumidifier serviced. You cannot just install it and forget about it. We have many people who call us to check their homes, this is what we find. We find houses with no plastic, but have a dehumidifier installed. The problem is, the dehumidifier will run continuously if there is no plastic or the vents are not sealed.
