On January 8, 2017, Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties and American Legion Post 1796 of New Windsor, came together to bestow an Honor Salute for Anthony Venezia, of New Windsor, NY., a WWII Army Veteran.
“It was a deeply moving celebration--not only the ceremony itself, but the genuine sincerity shown by the veterans” said Diana Pulliam, daughter and caregiver of Veteran Venezia. “This deeply touched all of us, especially my father, who cries every time we talk about it and while adoringly looks at the quilt that proudly hangs near his bed. Thank you for a most memorable experience. Our heartfelt thanks go to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan, the American Legion Post 1796, and the Goshen Girls, who made the beautiful quilt."

Timeless Friendships - An Everlasting Tradition
For over 25 years, these four ladies have been meeting once a month for lunch and great conversation. That’s over three hundred reunions shared by four good friends. Straight out of high school, all went to work at Central Hudson Gas & Electric in Newburgh, NY. For these lucky ladies, their first jobs lead to life-long friendships.
The friends dinned at Betty’s Country Kitchen in Washingtonville, NY on April 11, 2017.
