Business owners work too hard to get played by paperwork cosplay.
This notice ⬇️ looks official.

It isn’t.

Here’s how these trademark renewal scams usually work:

⚠️ Fake renewal notices. Official-looking letters demanding payment years before anything is due. 📇 Unofficial “registries” Pay-to-play databases with zero legal value.

📞 Impersonation calls or emails. They claim to be from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. They create urgency. They ask for money or info. The real USPTO never does this by phone.

💸 Overpriced “services” They offer to “handle” renewals for wildly inflated fees you don’t need to pay. The tell is always the same: Urgency. Confusion. Authority theater.

My message for my business owner friends today: You didn’t build your business by being careless.

Slow down. Read the fine print. Verify before you pay. Protect your brand. Don’t feed the scammers!

A little win hit me today and I was reminded that real change doesn’t happen at the beginning of the year...
