Crafts & fine motor working skills! 🎨🖐️🐛

A few crafts from this month: painted mud to add our worms to, matched flower pots to seeds 🌱, searched for letters to place in the nest 🪺, and so much more!

These kids absolutely LOVE to craft and create. It is always so fun watching them work hard, problem solve, and feel so proud seeing all their projects come together. 💖

What a month it has been! 🌞🚜🐄

We are deep into learning about farm life, the equipment found on a farm, and all the different farm animals. We’ve even started a little introduction into next month’s themes: gardening 🌱 and the butterfly life cycle 🦋

We have been soaking up all this amazing sunshine and spending lots of time outside — playing in the backyard, riding bikes with the neighborhood kids out front, and decorating the sidewalks with chalk masterpieces! ☀️🎨🚲

We are SO ready for summer over here!

💐 Mother’s Day Gifts 💐

These sweet kiddos spent TWO whole weeks planning and creating their special gifts for Mom! 🥹💕

They carefully chose to make flower pots with fingerprint ladybugs 🐞 and handprint flower tea towels 🌷 — and even picked out all the colors themselves!

It may look like an adult put these together, but I promise these little hands worked SO hard on every detail. Watching them take so much pride and excitement in making something special for their moms was the sweetest thing ever. 💖

The love behind these gifts makes them even more beautiful. ✨

🍀 Last Week’s Fun! 🌈

Last week we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with some fun, hands-on learning! The children practiced color matching by placing stickers on the rainbow to match the correct colors and explored color mixing to see how new colors are created.

Activities like these help strengthen fine motor skills, build color recognition, and encourage curiosity as children explore and learn through play.

It was a colorful week full of learning and a little St. Patty’s Day fun! 🍀

Last week in preschool we stepped into the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss! 📚🎨

We spent the week reading some of his classic stories and exploring the silly, imaginative characters that make his books so special. The kids had so much fun creating their own Seuss-inspired art, playing with rhymes, and diving into colorful projects that encouraged creativity and imagination.

From stripes and patterns to wacky creatures and bright colors, our classroom was filled with laughter, learning, and a little bit of Seuss-style silliness!

Books, art, and imagination make the perfect combination for preschool learning. ❤️

Sunshine, fresh air, and little explorers 🌿☀️

One of our favorite things is being OUTSIDE. We love walking through the neighborhood, looking at rocks, noticing different plants, spotting wildlife, and talking about everything we see along the way. The kids are always finding treasures and asking the best questions! 🪨🌱🐿️

Park days are the best days — climbing, running, balancing, imagining, and building strong bodies and friendships. Outdoor play isn’t just fun… it’s learning, exploring, problem-solving, and growing confidence all at once.

There is something so special about letting children experience the world around them in real time — getting a little messy, a lot curious, and completely engaged. 🌎💚
