☀️ Summer sunshine has finally arrived in Alaska, and the pups are making the most of every minute!

Our dogs love this time of year when the days are long, the grass is green, and every puddle is an adventure waiting to happen. Whether they’re exploring the yard, playing tag with their doggy friends, or taking a well-earned nap in a sunny spot, these happy pups know how to enjoy an Alaska summer!

One of the biggest compliments we can receive as breeders is when someone meets our puppies in person… and then decides they want one too. 💛

There’s just something special about experiencing their temperaments, confidence, sweetness, and little personalities firsthand. It reassures us that all the time, love, socialization, and intentional raising we pour into these pups is truly making a difference.

When people walk away saying, “Okay… now I want one,” it makes us feel like we’re doing something right. 🐾

This weekend we saw a VERY well intentioned owner letting her adorable golden retriever puppy approach every single dog at the mermaid festival on leash. She was very excited her puppy was freshly vaccinated and ready to “socialize” but by the end of the 10+ greetings with no structure, the puppy was almost neurotic at the end of the leash and older the dogs she was greeting were on the verge of snapping at her with harsh corrections! This would set her up for failure. “Socialization” is better thought of as neutrality! Observe at a distance 💕

“Yellow collar girl” made the big trip home yesterday and she is settling in beautifully! The little stinker can climb like a champ 🤣

Mom reports she slept through the night and is using her potty tray perfectly!!

Her name is now “Mystic “ 😍

“Black collar boy” is adjusting so well with his family! They have an excellent schedule with kennel training and potty breaks which is contributing to a smooth transition!

This handsome boy is now “Lumi” which means “snow” in Finnish 😍

“Orange collar boy” is now officially Murphy 😍

Murphy joins his big sister from our previous litter and we are so grateful this family came back to us for another sweet pup!
