Lil Alaska fun fact. We are 6.5 - 7.5 ft in the ground. That is a healthy root from the cottonwood family. Some on the most invasive and intensive root systems in North America come from the family. It is running parallel with the cast iron pipe. I would put money on when we find the Cast Iron connection. It has penetrated the gasket.

We’re just cruising back from Anchorage from offloading the Tanker and I thought I’d share a few things.

I try my hardest to take the Tankers in early morning or in the evening. This weekend A2 was so overwhelmed with Emergencies and backing up building all over the valley. I didn’t even get a chance to sit down and complete any billing. Last night was another late one. In ground storage was full, pump truck had 2,800 gallons on board, tanker was full and I just didn’t have any gas left in the tank to safely drive in and out from Anchorage to offload.

This morning we got a later start which is fine. I promise, your dookie isn’t going anywhere. Just a friendly reminder though:

-It is not mandatory for you to be home for us to pump your tank
- We typically leave a hard copy in your door and I get to sending invoices via email when I have time
- Your emergency isn’t anymore important than the next persons. Please do not try and offer more money to cut in line
- If you happen to dispatch another company, please let us know. Showing up to a job that is actively being pumped be another company. Completely unnecessary! That’s an hour out of my day and fuel is $6 per gallon.
- If you need a payment plan or cannot pay in full. Please tell me before we show up. I’ll work with anyone, as long as there’s communication.

Last, when I show up to a job. It is habit to check the clean out, shine my light down the standpipes as well as check the field to document any standing water. Please don’t be rude, condescending, disrespectful, curse at me or get aggressive. I’m not the one.
