We are OPEN and will be notifying customers on Facebook and of course our text alert system of schedules. We will be INCREASING store hours even more for your convenience.

We will have the best treated salt around custom made over spec. Our sand salt mix is 4:1 blended and kept INDOORS-DRY DRY DRY.

Wait times at the pier and subsequently our hard costs have come back to normal. We are still stocked well over our normal amount and continue to be the most reliable location in CT. Stay safe

Fully stocked ready to rock

Snow breaks out late morning/early afternoon Thursday and will snow moderately/heavy at times through the afternoon/evening due to initial low. Sleet line appears to stay south but can't rule out a sleet pellet or brief period of sleet extreme south/SE. Coastal will take over but will take its time to develop, so rather than heavier precipitation breaking out due to that we will deal with "lighter" precipitation throughout the night and into Friday. We wrap things up late morning/early afternoon Friday. A general 4"-8" is going bid but a few lollipop 9"-10" wouldn't blow my mind (especiallySouth). We'll have to watch radar and see if heavier bands sets up in our area or south.

Not an easy forecast...A quick mover due to lack of blocking. Snow breaks out tomorrow morning SW->NE after 8am. Snow will be moderate to heavy during the day especially east of I-84. Snow wraps up late evening after 6pm. As always remember those ranges!!! Thankful for low, wish for high. There's potential for 8"+ in the area in red...potential. We'll just have to watch radar as system develops. Thank you all for the support through thick and thin, Appreciate you all!!

We all see a healthy foot even on the shores. Snow breaks out Wednesday evening after 7pm. We crank out through the night and into Thursday morning. Those winds will be quite gusty (gusts over 35mph) during height.

Wet snow has began mixing with wet snow in higher elevations. Watch for the hills to fully flip to snow over the next 1-2 hours. With a flip to snow, intensity can allow all surfaces to cover. Mixing and changeover to snow will occur later in the lower elevations.
