Lang's is seeking the ideal candidate for a Construction Crew Foreman position.
Full time. Must be willing to work overtime.

- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in civil construction project environment.
- Minimum 3 years directing and managing a crew.
- Ability to operate a variety of equipment, such as (not limited to) dozer, excavator, skid steer. Having your class A CDL is preferred but not required.

We are looking to hire a dedicated Class A CDL truck driver to transport various materials to construction sites.

Hours: 4 10's, M-TH with Fridays as needed (OT).

The Class A CDL truck driver’s responsibilities include using the cranks and levers inside the truck to unload materials, supervising the loading of materials onto the truck, and inspecting the truck for any mechanical issues before and after every trip.
You should also be able to safely drive and operate the truck in all weather conditions.

To be successful as a Class A CDL truck driver, you should be able to pick up and deliver materials according to a schedule. Ultimately, a top-performing Class A CDL truck driver should perform all duties in accordance with company safety rules and Department of Transportation (DOT) road safety regulations.
Class A CDL Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• Transporting crushed rock, sand, and gravel to and from specified locations.
• Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions.
• Ensuring that the materials are loaded correctly onto the Class A CDL truck.
• Greasing the truck every 5,000 miles.
• Inspecting the truck before and after every trip, which includes checking the oil, gas and water levels as well as the lights and tires.
• Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to management.
• Performing regular maintenance to ensure that the truck is in good working order.
• Maintaining accurate driver logs.
• Complying with all safety rules and regulations.
Class A CDL Truck Driver Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating a standard Class A CDL truck.

Lang’s Excavating is currently seeking a Service Technician capable of performing repairs, service and maintenance on earth moving equipment.

Hours: 4 10's, M-TH, with frequent need for Fridays (OT)

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Work in a safe manner following all rules and regulations.
● Efficiently perform machinery maintenance and repairs in the shop and/or field.
● Efficiently troubleshoot problems using technical data bases and resources.
● Fully and accurately document work completed and all necessary information by way of writing on paper and/or typing it into a computer.
● Must be able to read and understand service manuals, wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics and parts catalogue.
● Must be self-motivated with sense of urgency
● Clean up your area using brooms, detergents and water hoses.
Minimum qualifications:
● Some proven knowledge of mechanical skills.
● 12 and 24 volt Electrical and High Pressure Hydraulic knowledge is a plus.
● Complete set of tools and a tool chest to store them in to stay on location.
● Ability to operate heavy earth moving equipment for positioning and testing.
● Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
● Submit to and successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
● Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
● Must have a high level of self-motivation and fully demonstrate you have the ability and willingness to learn and succeed in this industry.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

● While performing the required maintenance and repairs that come with this job you will be regularly required to walk, stand, sit, climb, climb and balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, overhead working, repetitive bending and repetitive lifting. This includes crawling under, on and around machinery to access repair locations.
● Ability Lift 75lbs
● Ability to apply appropriate force/torsion to wrenches, ratchets, breaker bars, and torque wrenches to tighten and loosen bolts/fixtures.
● You must be able to work in cold or hot, wet or dry, loud and sometimes dusty and muddy conditions.
