This morning at 738 am we were dispatched to an alarm on Broad Street. After we cleared at 800 am, we were dispatched to a low angle rescue call on Peebles Island where a patient was on the shore line, at the bottom of the cliffs. Northside FD assisted us on scene and Halfmoon FD was on stand by for us, covering any additional alarms. We cleared the scene at 939 am. The patient was transferred to Waterford EMS and then transported to the hospital. We were also assisted by Waterford PD, NYS Park Police, and Saratoga County Emergency Services.

Thank you to West Crescent FD for inviting us to participate in a multi agency simulated boat accident on the Mohawk River. We were able to deploy our boat and UTV to assist and practice our skills at this drill.

What a day today Waterford and Northside FD participated in a NYS Training class Tactical Simulation where we got to play on computers with x box controls practicing our tactical skills, communication, command and control and we had fun while doing so.
