Fees for Service
Battaglia offers hourly, per project, biannual and annual contracts to serve your consultation needs. We work by invoice or on advance retainers. We will also negotiate part-time staff placement for long term projects and infrastructure planning which is extremely efficient and cost-effective for clients. •pro-bono projects (Note: we often reach a planned capacity for pro-bono consults. We work cooperatively with a number of other consultants who join us on projects as needed. Grant Writing: Battaglia has a long history of grants consulting and non-profit management. She has worked with federal agencies, New York State, private philanthropic foundations, private trusts, national and local charities and other funding sources. In addition, Battaglia believes in educating clients about all aspects of the fundraising, grants consulting and administration in order to maximize the amount of funds raised and successfully complete critical projects, as well as lay a groundwork for the future. We regularly attend meetings, provide training to client staff and board members, and assist in helping them to learn and develop projects. After meeting with you to conduct a need assessment, we prepare an organizational background statement, written proposal and contract for services. Grant Administration: Battaglia has secured and administered over $80 million in funding and directly administered over $100 million in grants, fundraising, and corporate funds including educational, infrastructure, economic development and community development for its clients. Battaglia & associates will also contract with you to supplement current staff or act as interim staff; many organizations that are developing and implementing a project need leadership and direction in order to either lay future groundwork or guide a project through its process. It is more cost-efficient, practical and beneficial to a long-term project to add consultants in this capacity. In particular, longer term contracts to provide grant or infrastructure and strategic planning administration services which will run through implementation of project generally benefit from this. Grant administration services include but are not limited to: procurement, fiscal reporting, records preparation, release of funds processes, record keeping, status reports, preparation and/or revisions of forms, reports or other documentation, project management, compliance, preparation of documents and any other work required to implement and complete your project successfully. Fundraising and Donor Consulting: Grants are not the solution to all your fundraising needs. Grants can supplement and support program and project development if the infrastructure is in place to support them. There are many other types of fundraising, and we provide program, infrastructure and fundraising assistance with membership drives, events, donor management and solicitations. Development of infrastructure, policies and procedures and timeframes are also critical to a thorough and complete strategic plan. Campaign Consulting: assistance with and strategic planning for development of a capital or annual campaign, Individual solicitation, planned giving, endowments, memberships, special events and grants are key to laying the foundation to complete a capital project. Planning: Strategic plan development or individual project plan development, depending on client needs may include one year, five year, and long-term master plans as well as building internal infrastructure for an organization to be self-sufficient, including policies and procedures, marketing and development plans, business and profitability plans.
