We went to visit O's 4-H partner Lush, at Rapha Farms MN yesterday. Surprise! Taylor became a new mama shortly before we got there! It was a very difficult birth they didn't know was coming - so O gave Taylor some of her training treats (sunflower microgreens, of course 😉🌱). We got to watch baby take some of her first, very wobbly steps, as well as find her mama's milk and figure it all out! What a fun surprise, and a blessing, to get to spend a couple of hours watching these two!

A special thanks to Bear Country Blooms & Bakery for the fun action shot of my booth yesterday! I don't have many 'in action shots, so this was a fun surprise to find on her page. Speaking of Bear Country, I also added a classic 'farmer's market kid' photo duo, of which miss O is enjoying a Cinnamon Swirl sourdough loaf, straight from the bag in the back of our market car. 😆
Find us (as well as Bear Country and a ton of other super cool vendors!) Tuesdays in Cologne from 3-6p at the Field & Forge Market, and Thursdays in Waconia at the The Waconia Farmers Market from 4-7p!

As promised! Microgreens are out, and I'll restock later this afternoon if anything runs out (except the radish, these are it for those this week). The 'salad mix' is turnip/kale/kohlrabi/cauliflower. I also put out some red raspberry starts! Everything is $2 today. 213 Angel Ave SW, Watertown.

Feel free to just walk up and look, if you're unsure of what microgreens are. There's 'recipe' cards in the cooler too. Sorry it's a long walk, but I've had cooler theft (as in, the whole cooler itself) before, so it's under a camera now. If you're unable to make the walk, just let me know and I'll coordinate with you! Thanks for looking!

Extras will be dropping into the cooler in Watertown tomorrow (Wednesday) morning, and a restock in the afternoon! These are single-variety 1oz packs, so you can mix and match varieties! Choose from: pea, radish, and a collard/pak choi mix. Some will also have amaranth inside!

Microgreens are the most nutrient-dense way to have veggies, so you need much less to get the same impact as the full grown version! And guess what - if you don't like veggies, you can just sprinkle them on whatever you're already eating - I love mine on a slice of cream cheese or avocado toast, or on a burger or sandwich. You don't taste them, but you're getting a packed multivitamin of nutrients! Grown in Watertown, MN since spring 2021 (5 years!).

This weekend I’m releasing the Immunity Boost Box, the first box in a new Functional Microgreens series — where each week focuses on supporting a different body system through intentionally paired microgreens.
