AEDO accreditation is not just a reflection of FLX Gateway. It is also a reflection of the partnerships that make economic development possible in Schuyler County.

Thank you to our board, investors, municipal partners, businesses, community organizations, and regional partners who work with us to support growth and opportunity across the county.

This accreditation recognizes the standards behind the work — but the work itself depends on collaboration.

We are grateful to continue doing that work on behalf of Schuyler County.

FLX Gateway | Committed to growth.

Economic development is not one project, one grant, or one ribbon cutting.

It is the steady work of helping businesses grow, preparing sites for investment, supporting local communities, building partnerships, and connecting projects to the resources they need.

FLX Gateway’s AEDO accreditation reinforces that Schuyler County has a professional economic development organization working to support that long-term effort.

This recognition matters because strong systems, credible partners, and consistent follow-through help communities compete for investment and move projects from idea to implementation.

What does AEDO accreditation mean?

For FLX Gateway, it means our organization has been reviewed against professional economic development standards through the International Economic Development Council.

That review looks at how an economic development organization operates, plans, partners, and serves its community.

For Schuyler County, AEDO accreditation is a signal that our economic development work is being carried out with professional standards, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

AEDO accreditation recognizes professional excellence in economic development and includes an independent review of an organization’s operations, structure, and procedures.

For Schuyler County, this recognition reinforces the work we do every day to support business growth, strengthen local partnerships, pursue funding opportunities, and move community and economic development projects forward.
