Congratulations to Vanessa – Our New Chief Operating Officer
To the Dependable Fire Equipment Team
I am very proud to announce the promotion of Vanessa to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Dependable Fire Equipment.
This year marks 15 years since Vanessa joined Dependable Fire Equipment, and her journey with the company is something worth recognizing. She started in our billing department, and through years of hard work, dedication, loyalty, and a willingness to take on greater responsibility, she worked her way up to General Manager and now to Chief Operating Officer.
Vanessa also had the special opportunity and honor of working alongside Theresa, the founder of Dependable Fire Equipment. That connection to our company’s beginnings, combined with the knowledge and experience Vanessa has gained over the past 15 years, gives her a unique understanding of where Dependable came from, what we stand for, and where we are going.
For those who have worked with Vanessa over the years, you know how much she has given to this company. This promotion is not simply a new title—it is recognition of the dedication, leadership, and commitment she has demonstrated year after year.
Vanessa has continually stepped up whenever the company, our employees, or our customers needed her. She has helped us through challenges, taken on greater responsibilities, and played an important role in helping Dependable grow into the company we are today.
One of the things I value most about Vanessa is that she genuinely cares about this company and the people who are part of it. She understands our business, she understands our employees, and she knows what it takes to keep moving us forward.
As President, it means a great deal to me to recognize someone who started in the billing department 15 years ago and earned her way to the position of Chief Operating Officer. That is an accomplishment Vanessa should be extremely proud of, and it is a great example of what dedication and hard work can accomplish.
In her new role as COO, Vanessa will take on an even greater leadership role in the day-to-day operations of Dependable Fire Equipment and in helping guide the future of our company.
This promotion is very well deserved, and I could not be happier or more proud to have Vanessa stepping into this position.
