Bridesmaid Hairstyle

This is a beautifully elegant half upstyle for this bridesmaid. I love how this clean and simple look complimented her heavier fringe/bangs that she has. For her bangs, we did minimal styling to polish them up.

The trial vs. the wedding day

How do you feel the two separate services compare?

The only changes that were made day of was combating oiliness a bit more in her forehead area and sticking back the front two sections of hair a little differently.

This bride and her party were so great and easy to work with! Lovely group.

Naturally gorgeous bride!

For this look, we went with a very soft glam feel. We use a lighter and softer lash for her trial. But, day of we switch to a slightly fuller set to frame her eyes more. We also made a couple other small adjustments.
The results, amazing! She stated, "My makeup held so well throughout the day, even after crying a bunch."

For this look, she wanted a more touseled version of Hollywood waves.
she absolutely loved it!

Bride loves pink!

This makeup look is still elevated, without having dramatic eye makeup.
This was the second trial as we had done slightly more to here eye makeup, a different blush, more defined brows, and a different lip color previously.
This time, we went softer on her eyebrows, a more pinky lip color, softer eye makeup, and a less cool toned blush.
Absolutely love the results! This type of reaction always makes this worth it.

Bridal Hair Trial

For this bridal hairstyle, we went for a textured, half up half down look. for faceframing, we dead fairly heavy face, framing, keeping the pieces fairly curly.
She was in love with the look and did not want any changes!

Bridal Trial

For her makeup, we went for a natural glam look with a light lash set and lipgoss.
Her hairstyle was more of a classic French Twist with texture.

For this gorgeous bride, we went for an elevated look that was not dramatic with the eye makeup. Besides the lashes, of course!
For her hair, we work with her natural length and density to create a clean tidy look in the front, with softly textured curls in the back.

The bridal trial aftermath

When I set my hair and/or makeup kit up for a client, everything always looks organized and is nicely laid out.
However, post service a message tends to form. There are times I actively try to prevent this. But, it can be hard when you cannot put something back until it's sanitized.

Am I alone in this struggle?

Bridal Makeup Trial

Here is my beautiful bride's before and after for her makeup trial.
Personally, I love when a bride does a makeup trial because it can greatly help relieve stress from the day of the wedding knowing that you already when over what you do and do not like with your makeup. Allowing brides to relax more easily.
