Braided Updo

Braids have been low on the requests list as of the past couple years. It was so great to incorporate some again!

When requesting braids, it is ideal to ensure you have enough hair for the braided look you are going for. If not, you may need extentions to help add more density to work with.

To me, this updo is timeless.

Over the month or so, I've gone through a roller coaster of emotions. Life doesn't prepare you for how to navigate the loss of both your dad and your grandpa within a month of each other.

Trying to actively run a business and be there for my brides has honestly not been easy. My communication has not been 100% and it's taken more effort to stay organized.

Though being a stay at home mom raising a toddler and being in my third trimester with my second baby definitely can have it's difficulties through this time, they honestly have been such an amazing light to help bring a constant smile to my face and appreciation for what I have in addition to my supportive husband.

I apologize if I am not on top of everything right now. I promise I am doing my best to not let you down.

This is why consultations are so important!

If I didn't ask any additional questions and went with the first bit of information she said, I most likely would have way over done her makeup.

By asking more questions and ensuring we are listening to whay our clients are saying to us, this can drastically change the outcome of the service results!

Bridesmaid Hairstyle

This is a beautifully elegant half upstyle for this bridesmaid. I love how this clean and simple look complimented her heavier fringe/bangs that she has. For her bangs, we did minimal styling to polish them up.

The trial vs. the wedding day

How do you feel the two separate services compare?

The only changes that were made day of was combating oiliness a bit more in her forehead area and sticking back the front two sections of hair a little differently.

This bride and her party were so great and easy to work with! Lovely group.

Naturally gorgeous bride!

For this look, we went with a very soft glam feel. We use a lighter and softer lash for her trial. But, day of we switch to a slightly fuller set to frame her eyes more. We also made a couple other small adjustments.
The results, amazing! She stated, "My makeup held so well throughout the day, even after crying a bunch."
