On Sunday, August 2, employees and family members took part in the GE Vernova | Prolec Run, joining in person and virtually for 5k and 10k events. 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️

Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, organized, cheered, or helped make the event possible. Each mile brought us closer and showed what people can build when they support one another.

Every step, every mile, and every act of support helped build the trust that moves us forward.

This week we celebrated the end of another successful semester for our Leadership Program participants. In this program, young talented professionals execute high-impact strategic projects throughout their four rotations in different business areas.

In their final presentations, our participants showed the results obtained after 6 months of dedication and many hours of hard work. While involved in their projects, they not only acquire business knowledge but also develop leadership skills such as adaptability, innovation and critical thinking, always looking for continuous improvement as a priority.

We congratulate all our participants and express our gratitude to the leaders, coaches and mentors that guided them through every challenge, helping to shape the future through talent development.

Celebrating Inclusion Week!

At Prolec, we believe that an inclusive workplace starts with listening, learning, and valuing every perspective.

Throughout our Inclusion Week, our teams participated in initiatives such as a Cause-Driven Fundraiser, a Photo Exhibition, a Global Digital Mural, and Inclusion & Awareness Workshops. These activities encouraged meaningful conversations, fostered empathy, and reinforced our commitment to creating a culture where everyone feels respected, heard, and empowered.

Inclusion is more than a one-week initiative, it's a commitment we strengthen every day through our actions, decisions, and the way we work together.

Huge day for our very own, Julie Graham & Wayne County!

We're proud to share that the Prolec GE Waukesha expansion in Wayne County has been named the 2026 Mid-Sized Market Deal of the Year by the North Carolina Economic Development Association (NCEDA), with Julie recognized as the lead economic developer who helped bring this transformational project to life.

Economic development projects of this scale don't happen overnight. They require years of relationship-building, collaboration, persistence, and a deep commitment to the communities we serve. From the earliest conversations through project development and groundbreaking, Julie worked alongside partners across Wayne County and North Carolina to help make this $140 million investment and 330-job expansion a reality.

This award recognizes more than a project. It recognizes the dedication, leadership, and tireless work that Julie brings to economic development every day. Her efforts have helped create lasting opportunities for Wayne County residents, strengthen the region's manufacturing sector, and position Eastern North Carolina for continued growth.
