It has been awhile since I have provided an update on Waunakee Coworks….why? Because our members join and stay! (And I have been busy!)

We only offer private office memberships which keeps the community strong, consistent and focused.

2 members have been with us over a year and another 1 has been with us for over 2 yrs! (and yes, every office has a window, access to a conference room, casual seating area and stocked kitchen)

I do have one large private office available now so if you’re interested in a tour, let me know! Once it’s gone, it’s gone!

And be sure to shop Downtown Waunakee where every small business has Decked the Halls! (and does a happy dance when you Shop Local!)

The table was made by my husband, Tim, who is an incredibly talented tradesman. The ash trees he used to construct the table are from our land.

When people gather around this table for discussions, brainstorming, and problem-solving, I love and appreciate that they're doing it around such a beautiful and incredibly constructed piece of art. In a way, it makes me feel like everyone around it will get a little extra dose of inspiration. 😊

Space vs. Time

When we have to make a decision, it's not enough to 'give it time.' Chances are, you have all of the information you need to decide, so time really doesn't help.

Sometimes you need to change your space (or give yourself space) - get out from behind your desk, go work for the day at a coworking space like Waunakee Coworks, call your coach, or go for a walk

Otherwise, if you think you 'just need time' but you're not collecting additional information, what you need is space.

Things are getting SPOOKY at Waunakee Coworks....

Well the only thing scary is all this candy being gone!! Waunakee Coworks had such a great time last week handing out all this candy to trick or treaters. We saw some awesome costumes and it was a pleasure to be a part of such a fun event.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. (well, maybe a few)

Just because you're remote first, it doesn't mean you have to be isolated.
💡 We have a few members of Waunakee Coworks who only work in the space one day a week. It gets them out of the house. They get to see real live human adults during the day. And, it can help them either focus or spark some creative ideas by talking to others.

Just because you're a solopreneur, it doesn't mean you have to go it alone.
💡 We have a few solopreneurs who like having a business address, their business name on the directory board facing Main Street, a professional conference room for client meetings and a dedicated, professionally furnished office.

Just because you have one employee, it doesn't mean you can't find and create your own dedicated space in a coworking office.
💡 We have 2 offices available that can accommodate up to 2 people so your small 2 person team can work together. And, if you're both on video calls, someone can hop into the conference room.

Waunakee Coworks is going to change the way you think about coworking.

Why do we say that?

Because we're not your run of the mill coworking space. Most coworking spaces are built to maximize headcount/profit. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the business model. It's a great way to get more people to buy into a membership when you offer 'unassigned' desks, allowing you to double and triple sell on a piece of real estate.

However, at Waunakee Coworks, we cowork differently. There are no phone booths. There are no 'hot desks.' We designed our space with the coworker in mind.

Every WC (Waunakee Coworks) Member has an assigned office with their own desk, chair and cabinet. Natural light fills each workspace, creating a refreshing work environment. WC Members enjoy the privacy of their own office plus the benefits of coworking.

Want to be heads down? Just shut your door. Want to get inspiration? Hop into the conference room and use the glass boards to capture some big ideas during a brainstorming session with another WC Member (who you will actually know, by the way). Need a moment away from your desk? Have a seat in our 'living room' and read a Harvard Business Review article. Need some energy? Grab a cup of Starbucks or Dunkin coffee and you're good to go.

Our memberships are month to month, but we hope you stay a long time. To prove it, we'll put your name on your door and give you your own suite number.
