MPD Pallet Inc has immediate openings for 2 full time local truck drivers. Home every night, No touch loads, mostly drop and hook loads with in the state of Wisconsin. We are looking for an experienced truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. Home nightly, No weekends. Hourly pay with time and a half. Minimum of 21 years of age
Class ABCD CDL WITH GOOD DRIVING RECORD.
1-3 years verifiable experience
No DUI/DWI convictions within past 5 years
No chargeable D.O.T. reportable accidents within the past three years. Responsibilities,
Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Collect and verify delivery instructions
