Today, we’re celebrating an incredible milestone—Makeila Mueller’s 10-year anniversary with NorthStar! 🎉

Makeila’s journey with NorthStar is a special one. She joined the team straight out of high school and, over the past decade, has grown right alongside the company becoming the knowledgeable and professional woman she is today. It has been incredible to watch her build a career and make such a lasting impact at NorthStar.

One of the things that makes Makeila special is how much she genuinely cares about the people around her. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is included, whether it’s within the restoration team or at a company event, and she often puts others before herself. She keeps us organized, keeps us accountable (whether we like it or not), and is someone we know we can depend on to make sure things get taken care of.

Beyond everything she brings professionally, Makeila’s ambition and bubbly personality are a big part of what makes her such a great asset to our team. She continues to challenge herself, grow her knowledge, and take on new opportunities with determination and a desire to keep moving forward.

10 years together means a lot of memories, laughs, challenges, accomplishments, and growth. It’s been pretty special watching Makeila grow alongside NorthStar and become such an important part of our team and our culture.

Today, we’re celebrating an incredible milestone for Josh Norton—15 years with NorthStar! 🎉

Over the years, Josh has become much more than a familiar face at NorthStar. He’s the go-to person, a steady leader, and someone who helps hold everything together. Whether he’s answering questions, offering guidance, solving a problem, or simply being there when someone needs support, Josh is always willing to step up.

One of the things that makes Josh such an important part of our team is the genuine compassion and commitment he shows—not only to our customers, but to NorthStar and the people he works alongside every day. He encourages others to step outside their comfort zones, take on new challenges, and believe in what they’re capable of, while supporting them every step of the way.

Josh’s 15 years with NorthStar are a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and perseverance he brings to everything he does. He has worked hard for the things he has accomplished and for the leader he has become, and we’re incredibly grateful for the impact he continues to make on our team and our customers.

With the 13th Annual Restoring Kindness Open right around the corner. We are sold out for golfers.....But.....

🧺 WE STILL NEED RAFFLE BASKETS!

As we put the finishing touches on the outing, there's still one very easy way for anyone in the community to help.

We're looking for raffle baskets and raffle donations!

Businesses, employees, families, groups of friends, community organizations, or individuals are all welcome to participate.

Put together a themed basket, donate gift cards, merchandise, experiences, outdoor gear, food and beverage packages—or get creative and come up with something completely different.

There is no limit to the number of raffle baskets we can accept.

If you'd like to donate a basket or items we can use to build one, please reach out to me or someone on the NorthStar team and we'll make arrangements to get it picked up.

We’re getting ready to cycle out one of our current NorthStar commercials, and our marketing team has been experimenting with some of the new AI-assisted creative tools that are becoming available.

So we decided to have a little fun with it.

Both commercials use the same professionally recorded audio from our existing radio campaign — the voiceover is real, not AI, and we’re sticking with the storytelling format we’ve used and really like.

What we’re experimenting with is the visual side.

Teeing off for a great cause! ⛳️🔥 NorthStar is beyond honored to join in on the fun for the 1st Annual Stevens Point Fire Department Golf Outing.

We couldn't be more excited to hit the greens, raise some funds, and show our huge appreciation for the brave men and women who keep our community safe every single day. Huge thanks to the Stevens Point Fire Department for organizing what’s bound to be an incredible event—we’re ready to bring our A-game (or at least our best attempt at keeping it out of the sand traps)!
