FCEDC is proud to introduce the 2026 graduating class of Fulton Leadership University. Over the past nine months, these leaders have dedicated themselves to an intensive development program while balancing the demands of work and family.

This Tuesday, May 19th, they presented their final Capstone projects at the Farmers and Merchants State Bank Operations Center in Archbold. These projects will now move forward with sponsoring companies throughout Fulton County, bringing meaningful improvements to organizations across our community!

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland has launched the 2026 Business Outlook and Trends Survey (BOTS) in partnership with FCEDC, along with Paulding, Defiance, Williams, and Henry Counties. Your perspective is essential.

Why your participation matters:
• Inform policy decisions: Your input helps guide the Federal Reserve, service providers, policymakers, and others, ultimately benefiting your business and those like it.

• Early economic insights: Gain advance awareness of regional economic shifts before they appear in national data, helping you make more informed decisions.

• Community-specific analysis: When our region reaches 50 or more responses, FCEDC and our partners receive a local economic analysis based on feedback from our business community.

The survey takes about five minutes to complete and closes on June 10.

We are proud to share that RJ Lumbrezer, Principal Survey Manager at DGL, has been appointed to serve as a Fulton County Commissioner. RJ was appointed on Wednesday, April 8, and was officially sworn into office on Thursday, April 9.

As a Commissioner, RJ will serve on the county’s governing board, helping guide key decisions that impact the community. This includes approving budgets, overseeing county operations, and supporting long-term initiatives such as community growth, land use, infrastructure improvements, and strategic planning.

Commissioners also work closely with other elected officials, appoint members to boards and commissions, and help ensure essential services and projects are effectively delivered across the county.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the establishment of product pricing and reviews of profitability through pricing and margin
- Responsible for support to the Territory Sales Managers
- Responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business
- Responsible for making calls, visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers
- Develops clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers
- Expedites the resolution of escalated customer problems and complaints
- Participates in Regional and Industry events

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, merchandising or marketing. Equivalent experience and training would be considered in lieu of
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably garage doors)
- 3+ years outside sales experience required
- Required to travel and manage overnight accommodations as needed
- Ability to research and analyze various types of data and information
- Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to work full-time on-site
