Hmong came to Wisconsin in early 1990’s with no money, no English, no skills, no connections and no country to go back refugees. Now there are 25,000 people showing up in the Hmong new year celebrations and they have one UWM major university vice chancellor, one county judge, 13 elected officials and one federal senator candidate. Han Chinese have none of them while population is equal or similar in Wisconsin.
