Yesterday marked 10 years of Sandhoff Services Pest & Termite.
What started as a small dream has grown into a business that has allowed us to serve thousands of families and businesses throughout our community. Reaching this milestone would not have been possible without the support of our incredible customers, dedicated employees, and the many industry colleagues who have encouraged us along the way.
To our customers—thank you for trusting us to protect your homes, families, and businesses. Your loyalty and referrals have been the foundation of our success.
To our employees, both past and present—thank you for your hard work, commitment, and the care you show our customers every day. You have helped build Sandhoff Services into what it is today.
And to Steve Couch, thank you. When I graduated from college, I had plans to pursue a different career path, but things didn’t work out the way I expected. At a time when I needed an opportunity, you offered me one. You needed help running bed bug heat treatment equipment and told me that whether it was for a day, a week, or a month, you could use the help. Within a few months, I knew I wasn’t going anywhere.
Over the years, you became much more than an employer, or uncle —you became a mentor. You encouraged me to start my own company long before I believed I was ready, and you allowed me to continue working at Pest One while building Sandhoff Services until it could fully support my family. Even after I left to focus solely on my business, you were always there with advice, equipment, knowledge, and even an extra set of hands when needed. The impact you’ve had on my career and my family’s future is impossible to measure. I’ll forever be grateful for your mentorship, support, friendship, and belief in me over the years.
Most importantly, thank you to my family. To my wife, Laci, thank you for standing beside me through the long days, late nights, challenges, and victories. Your support, sacrifices, and dedication have helped make this company what it is today. To our daughter, Sutton, thank you for being the reason behind so much of what we do. The countless hours spent building this business were always with our family’s future in mind. I am incredibly blessed to have both of you by my side on this journey.
I also want to give special recognition to Paul Bello. Through attending his PJB Business Development Workshops, I was introduced to some of the best people and companies in the pest control industry. Many of those relationships have turned into lasting friendships over the past seven years. The knowledge, encouragement, and support from that community have played a significant role in our journey.
As we celebrate 10 years in business, we’re grateful for where we’ve been and excited about where we’re headed. Here’s to continuing to serve our customers with integrity, hard work, and a personal approach for many years to come.
Thank you for being part of our story.
