INTERMEDIATE UPDATE — 2025 NCHA Futurity Open 1st Go:

Andy Sherrerd rose to the top of the Intermediate division of the 2025 Futurity Open 1st Go with a 220.5 aboard Gar Steel, a standout three year old sired by Metallic Cat and out of C Spot Betty — a mare Andy also enjoyed major success on. Gar Steel is owned by Mark & Eva Gardiner.

A total of 139 Intermediate teams are advancing to the second round, all battling for a coveted Top 25 spot in Wednesday’s Finals starting @ 10am.
