Its been a minute. I hope everyone has been doing well. I see I have a few followers and I appreciate all of you.

This year will be a very busy one for me as I am trying to grow the business (es). Leader Avenue, LLC is about consulting and I am trying to expand out and offer my services, which include individual coaching, consulting small groups, and public speaking about topics that I am familiar with in the area of education, specifically English Learners, assessment, data analytics.

As leaders we always continue to grow and learn and that is what I have been doing and continue to do. I hope you too have been growing. Happy New Year and lets continue to grow together.

Wayne Area Economic Development (WAED) is collaborating with Dr. Brian Kufner, Associate Professor of Human Resource Management at Wayne State College, to provide assistance to area businesses on topics related to: 1) human resource management (e.g., recruitment, retention, selection, etc.); 2) organizational behavior (e.g., performance, motivation, organizational culture, etc.); and, 3) organizational development (e.g., training and development, strategy, structure and process, etc.).
In an effort to identify key organizational concerns, we ask that you complete a brief survey via the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3J6G6ND.
The survey consists of eight questions and takes about 5 minutes to complete. The results will be consolidated, kept strictly confidential, and free from any identifiable information. The outcome of the survey will be the development of training programs and/or consulting services to help ensure the success of existing and emerging businesses in the Wayne area. To be able to address your concerns in a timely fashion, please complete the survey by Friday, May 28, 2021 at 5 p.m. (CDT).

Did you know there is a difference between metric driven and data driven? One is proactive and the other reactive. Where you want to be in your business depends on situations. Both are needed to be successful, but knowing when to use one or the other is where we can help you. Moneypenny (2016) provides a useful graphic.

Just a short post on this but thought it’s worth sharing some thoughts around terminology. What’s in a name indeed… It’s amazing how everything these days is referred to as…

Hello faithful followers! For those who have been patiently waiting for more to happen with Leader Avenue, 2020 is the year.

Brian and I have joined ventures in order to grow our business in data analytics in the business and education sectors.

Having a background in human resources and the field of education, Brian and I have a unique perspective on how to look at your data and how to make sense of it in a way that can provide for you ease of mind when looking at numbers.

We understand that numerical values can be daunting when you are trying to figure out other aspects of your small business, corporation, or schools, school districts, or even your own personal life.

We consult with you and coach you in order for you to be able to connect the dots in a way that is fun, engaging, and, takes you where you want to be.
