Hi SWB Family!
This has been a really hard post for me to write, I’ve been avoiding it in a way because saying this is so hard for me….
First- I want to thank every single one of you. Some of you have been here since the beginning and others have come along the way. Whether you shared our business, booked with us, or just commented and interacted in the past we appreciate you more than you will ever know.
Some of you know that I started this business in March of 2021 because I was devastated over back-to-back miscarriages. I broke down to God and asked him for a direction- and that then led me to Rover to become a part-time pet sitter. It was supposed to be a side gig to make me happy, but it turned into so much more. It turned into a testimony for the Lord. A simple prayer turned into an entire life for Steve and I. A partnership that would grow our marriage and relationship, give us opportunity to be with our children and help us grow and reach goals at one point felt like dreams that would never come true.
We grew so quickly, hundreds of clients over the last five years, thousands of visits between regular check-in and vacation stays. So many long hour days, 2 pregnancies and births of our children. Heartbreak from losses of clients to old age, smiles and laughter with so many pets. Humbling lessons and getting to know so many amazing people that Steve and I have met along the way. It has been an amazing and such special part of our lives.
That being said, after a lot of prayer, Steve and I have decided to move on from Augusta County and surrounding areas to move somewhere we have more land and opportunity for growth for our children and our fur babies.
Deciding to close down this business has been one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make. But, we know it is for the best, and we want to truly thank every single one of you for your support over these last 5 years.
I want to honor some of our precious clients that we have loved so incredibly much that have crossed the rainbow bridge to end this post. I’ll never forget any of you, we love you so much and thank you for the memories. 🫶🏻
