After an emotional week dealing with the loss of our family business of 60 years, Friends Stockyard, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the 14 fire departments whose volunteer members battled the blaze under the most challenging conditions. Along with the firefighters, we also want to thank our friends and neighbors, who stepped in to assist in the efforts to limit the loss of livestock to only three head.

We would also like to extend our thanks to the support teams, including the Accident VFD Auxiliary, who coordinated food and beverage donations from several local businesses.

In response to the overwhelming outpouring of support through texts, phone calls, and messages from family, friends, and community members asking how they can assist, we kindly ask that you consider making a monetary donation to a fire department of your choice as we decide how to move forward.

Once again, we offer our heartfelt thanks to EVERYONE who has helped us during this difficult time.
