A couple weeks ago, we lost our beloved lesson horse, Chrissy. ❤️🐴

Chrissy was such a staple in our program — the ultimate babysitter. She taught so many riders how to post and proudly carried many of them into the show ring for the very first time. She was recently retired, and we had planned to celebrate her at our tournament, but in true Chrissy fashion… she did things her own way.

She will always hold such a special place in our hearts and in the memories of so many riders who were lucky enough to love her.🌹

We had a great day wrapping up our final tournament of the season! 🐴❤️

We loved celebrating our riders with a picnic and awards ceremony and seeing how much everyone has grown since the beginning of the season. Thank you to all of our parents, riders, friends, and families for your support all season long!

Today was also Miss Amber’s last day with us. Thank you, Amber, for all of your hard work and dedication to our horses and riders. You will be greatly missed! ❤️

*Part 1 - lots of pictures from today but can only upload so many! Please tag & share our fun day. Awards ceremony pictures up next!

Our Very Loved Lesson horse Chrissy has finally hit her much earned retirement at the spry age of 31. She will be enjoying her retirement being turned out to run and roll as much as she wants to. I am calling on all lesson students past and present at the barn. If you have any pictures of kiddos with Chrissy please send them to me so we can put together a slide show from all of the years of Chrissy at Seldom Seen Farm. We will be doing a small retirement party for her during our May Tournamnet.
