Progress is being made on our new to us house. We will be relocating to Howell County by the end of the year. If fuel prices continue the way they are we may to be able to guarantee our travel to continue services in the current area. Unfortunately it is what it is. Without going against our moral code and raising our prices to serve to common wealth rather than how we do things, we have to face reality at some point.

We do plan to run services in the area for a little while as we get transitioned over. We do NOT have a set date to end services in the area. We WILL announce our changes when the time comes.

We WILL continue to do our regular maintenance jobs that we can realistically afford to do and we WILL communicate with those who we can no longer continue services for.

We DO plan to come back in service sometime in September for a brief time. Again we are relocating so I cannot continue to just run back and forth. We are going to try to schedule work closer together to make it easier to do so. So we may choose the beginning if the week to do jobs in the area and that is when we will schedule the work to be done. Example we may schedule brush hogging on Mondays and material hauling on Tuesdays. This way we make one trip and work for two days rather than traveling back and forth all week trying to answer calls for service.

Please just bare with us as we transition into a better future for our family and hopefully for the business as well. We are still figuring things out. This is like learning a new software program except there isn't one telling us how to do this.

If you haven't already, please follow the page. We try to post updates as we have them to give. This is the best and quickest way to inform everyone of delays, changes, or plans.

It has been a hectic and busy month for us. A little bit of everything. We hauled numerous loads of stone, mowed/brush hogged, and performed some driveway repairs. Thank you all for keeping us in business and trusting us to do the job. We dealt with some flat tires and other maintenance that came up, but we got the jobs done. That's just how business goes.

We are taking a small break from business to get some things done privately but we will be back as soon as we can. I would love to keep going and taking on jobs, but we are out of time to get the house done. School starts very soon and we have to get things situated by then. We are way behind schedule on this project of our own.

Once we are back I will update everyone. I am planning to post a new ad for materials. I did remove the old one so I would stop getting messages or calls for now. Everything as of now will remain posted on the business page.

That being said, you can still message us if you need anything. We can try to get it worked out. We don't always have the best service at our other property and with us being hard at work responses may be delayed and calls may not come through on our end. We do try to leave our phones in service but I cannot guarantee anything.

Again, Thank you all for all the work you have given us. We look forward to continuing as soon as we can.

Well, after being given the wrong parts, told we had to order them, and even being lied to about having them in stock, we were able to find the correct bolts in stock out of the area. And we were.able to get our delayed delivery done. Who knew getting two little bolts could be such a hassle. It was an all day event trying to track them down without having to delay yet another day.

This is what I'm saying when I talk about things outside of my control. I don't care how big or great your business is, you have breakdowns, you have wait times. Some.are able to continue work due to having more equipment available or even going to rent what is needed. Some just have patience and get another job done while they wait. It doesn't matter how much you maintain something. It happens. It just so happens no one around here ever has the parts we need in stock when we need them. Sometimes I'm willing to wait but if I can get going again sooner without going too far out of the way, I will do what it takes.

I know some that won't even offer an explanation or keep people informed of what is going on. I'm not one of those people. I live in the real world where problems arise. It is what it is. I don't have extra equipment to use.

These parts stores have really dropped their standards. This will make the 3rd trip to get the correct part. I feel sorry for women or people they think are dumb and sell the wrong parts to. I should be able to send someone to the parts store and get what I need. Not make multiple trips because someone can't look up the correct parts.

See, these are the things that happen that are out of my control. I can't control other people or how they function. I just have to deal with it. O'Reilly is the only store that seems to have parts in stock most of the time. And they are really letting me down right now. The first time was a misunderstanding, but to look up parts for entirely the wrong vehicle and not confirm it is another story.

Yes, I drive the posted speed limit through construction zones.

If you don't have:

πŸ’₯πŸ’²πŸ’² $10,000++ in fines
πŸ’₯ πŸ’²πŸ’²Thousands of πŸ’²πŸ’² for medical bills
πŸ’₯ πŸ’²πŸ’² A really good insurance policy
πŸ’₯ πŸ’²πŸ’² Thousands or millions to cover a lawsuit
πŸ’₯ πŸ’²πŸ’² to cover funeral costs
πŸ’₯ ⏳️ To sit in jail or prison

Then I sugggest you do the same.

Yes it's inconvenient.
Yes it's frustrating at times.

It's not going to get done with the flick of a magic wand.
It benefits you and others by allowing slower speeds so we can all share the road safely. Slower speeds allow for greater breaking in tight or congested spaces.

You share the road by letting people merge in front of you and slowing down.

Your urgency to get where you're going is no more a priority to anyone else than their own urgency to get where they are going.

Be considerate. Yes there are some entitled people out there. Let them be entitled. It's a work zone. Not a road rage zone. Keep that, best advice is don't do it at all. The more you hold them back from merging the more the backup continues to grow. You're causing the problem then, not the construction or the other people.

Be glad it's a lower speed limit and not a flagger letting you through when it's convenient to do so.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯SLOW DOWN!! WE ARE ALL TRYING TO GET THROUGH THIS!!πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Your added 🫯 isn't going to help.

OB46 guveaway is Live! And yes we will be entering to win it. We regret ever selling our excavator and it has been a hassle getting jobs having to rent the equipment for it. It would be awesome to own our own equipment again. If we can't buy it, we can certainly try to win it. Maybe one of these days we will get lucky either way by either winning or purchasing the equipment again.

This could be yours if you enter. No purchase is necessary to win. You can simply mail in your entry and wait for the giveaway date. It's that simple. What better way to win a prize and get the money to cover the expenses? You won't find a better deal.

If anyone had the luck of getting something with parts never in stock, it's me.

As i went through the truck with my mechanic, we found some things needing replaced, one of those is urgent. The website says they have the parts in stock and available for pick meanwhile in store they don't have them. Luckily one store is able to get them in today while the others want you to pay for them and wait until tomorrow. I've been down that route and was calling for nearly a week and a half because the bolts didnt come in like they said they would.

This is why I reserve Monday's so we can have our Monday on Monday. Sometimes Monday rolls over into tuesday and sometimes Friday is a Monday. Just how it rolls.

We'll be back up and running by this afternoon. We take safety serious, so some things must get done while others can wait a little longer. Somehow we are missing the bolts out of a rear break caliper. Not safe to drive that way and wasn't noticed before.

I try to save maintenance work for Monday's. My weekends are reserved for family or functions if I can help it. But plans Weekends are the only full days the family has together and it is important to save those days if possible. So Monday's are for maintenance or for me to catch up if Im behind. If maintenance is low I may take some rock orders. So don't hesitate to ask. I can't always guarantee I can come immediately, but I will schedule the next available time I have.
