Fall clean-up season was in full swing for RBA Cares! 🍁

Team members from our Duluth and Wayzata offices spent the day taking care of our Adopt-A-Highway routes. This is a simple but meaningful way to give back to the Minnesota communities we call home.

At RBA, caring for our surroundings goes hand-in-hand with caring for each other.

At the Umbraco US Festival in Chicago (October 2–3), our very own Kassie Gibbons, UX/UI Designer at RBA, took the stage to present “Embracing AI as a Collaborative Design Partner: Ethical Integration in UX.”

Her session explored how designers can thoughtfully integrate AI as a creative partner, leveraging innovation without losing the human touch that defines great user experiences.

As this year’s Puzzle Partner, RBA sponsored a custom community puzzle designed to help attendees decompress, connect, and spark creativity between sessions, because sometimes the best ideas come together one piece at a time. 🧩

This month, RBA is proud to support Heroes on the Hill, an event dedicated to raising funds for mental health services for Veterans and First Responders.

➡️ The challenge? A 12-hour climb up and down Buck Hill in Burnsville, MN.

➡️ The impact? More than $23,000 raised to ensure those who serve our communities and country can access critical behavioral health support.

At RBA, we believe giving back strengthens the communities we’re part of, and we’re honored to play a small role in this mission.

Yesterday, our team connected with so many eager college students at the University of Minnesota Duluth—Swenson College of Science & Engineering at UMD during their STEM-Fest Career Fair.

It was a day full of great conversations, fresh ideas, and excitement for what’s ahead. We loved meeting the next generation of engineers, analysts, and innovators. We enjoyed sharing how they, too, can explore careers in software engineering, AI, data, cloud, and digital strategy with RBA.

We’re always energized by these opportunities to talk about the real-world impact of technology and to meet students who are passionate about building their future in technology. 🚀

A huge thank you to UMD for hosting such a fantastic event, and to all the students who stopped by our booth. We look forward to seeing some of you as future interns (and maybe even future RBA team members)!

✨ Nothing says summer in Minnesota like the State Fair! 🎡 Each year, our team looks forward to stepping away from the office and spending a day of fun, food, and quality time together.

This year, you may have spotted us in a sea of green, rocking our “We’re kind of a big dill” shirts, designed by our very own UX star, Kassie Gibbons!

From cream puffs to fried pickles, and plenty of laughs in between, the Fair is more than just a tradition for us; it’s a celebration of the culture and connections that make RBA special. 🙌

For the month of July, RBA Cares proudly supports the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV), an organization working tirelessly to prevent and end Veteran homelessness across Minnesota.

MACV’s mission is powerful: serve Veterans and their families, wherever they are on their journey, with dignity, compassion, and help to provide the critical services they’ve earned. From housing support and employment assistance to legal advocacy through their Vetlaw program, MACV offers a lifeline to those who have given so much for others.

Organizations like MACV remind us that community impact starts with empathy and action. It’s why giving back to causes like this is so important, and why we’re grateful for the opportunity to support their work.

A big thank you to the Minnesota Technology Association for hosting two powerful events this month, and for giving RBA the opportunity to be part of the momentum.

On May 7, we joined hundreds of tech professionals at Tech C***ect 2025, where our very own Kassandra Gibbons took the stage to speak on AI and UX Research. Her session sparked insightful conversations on designing with both intelligence and empathy, and we loved connecting with attendees at our booth to explore how digital strategy and human-centered design can go hand in hand.

Then, on May 13, we were honored to sponsor a WLiT (Women Leading in Technology) event. This is always a space filled with inspiration, leadership, and community. Rachelle Epley, Amy Mischio, Lenice Gregory and Kim Lund represented RBA at our booth, engaging with so many incredible leaders driving change across the tech industry.

We had an incredible time last night supporting CIOs Against Cancer - Minnesota at Allianz Field!

RBA, Inc. was proud to be a Corporate Underwriting Sponsor for this powerful event benefiting the American Cancer Society. From April 21–24, participants had the opportunity to bid on exclusive one-on-one lunches with top CIOs and IT executives, with all proceeds supporting cancer research. The live auction celebration on April 24th brought the community together for an evening of connection, inspiration, and impact.
