🤱 **Is your baby latched well?**
A good latch isn't just about what feeding *looks* like—it’s about how effectively and comfortably your baby is feeding. 💕
Some signs to look and listen for include:
👄 A **wide-open mouth** before latching
🤱 A **deep latch**, with more ar**la visible above baby’s mouth than below
👂 **Slow, deep swallows** during feeding
👶 A baby who appears **relaxed and comfortable**
💕 Feeding that is comfortable for you
Some initial tenderness can happen, but **persistent or significant pain deserves attention.** Pain, ni**le damage, or concerns about milk transfer are good reasons to have the feeding evaluated.
✨ Sometimes a small adjustment in positioning or latch can make a big difference.
Every parent-baby pair is unique, and you don't have to figure feeding out on your own. 🩵
