3M™ Cooling Film is a durable, passive cooling film designed to help reduce solar heat gain on exterior transportation and equipment surfaces. Featuring over 85% solar reflectivity and 91% emissivity, the film helps limit heat absorption from direct sunlight while promoting radiative cooling, which can contribute to lower substrate and interior vehicle temperatures.
Engineered for demanding exterior applications, 3M™ Cooling Film combines excellent solar performance with the flexibility needed to conform to compound curves, corrugations, and rivets. Its pressure-activated adhesive allows the film to slide, tack, snap up, and reposition during installation, while non-visible air-release channels help provide fast, smooth, bubble-free dry applications.
