One our proudest treasures is Chandor Gardens, located in the historic district of Weatherford. Chandor Gardens captures both the ornate design of ancient Chinese architecture and the elegance of a formal English garden. The 3.5-acre estate leads its visitors on a meandering path of beauty and wonderment. From the 30 foot man-made waterfall, to the various soothing fountains, the gardens have something new and exciting to offer at every turn. Chandor Gardens is a city owned and operated facility that provides a relaxing place for visitors to escape everyday life. Our old-time Farmers’ Market, First Monday Trades Days, and a bounty of Victorian-era homes bring visitors to our city to share in our desire to maintain our heritage as we grow toward the future. Weatherford is also becoming a destination place for many visitors because of our large scale events. Our signature events include Spark in the Park and Holiday in the Park attracting over 30,000 people each year. Weatherford is a great place to visit and we encourage our visitors to explore what we have to offer! As a leading community in North Texas, we know that we offer something for everyone. With 500+ contestant runs, two nights of championship rodeo action and a concert to cap off the weekend, you won’t want to miss it!
