Joy Deary and Gotta Custom Spook, affectionately known as "Twinkle," claimed both the Intermediate Non Pro Championship and the $500 Limited Non Pro Championship on Friday.

Twinkle is a 2020 mare by Spooks Gotta Whiz and out of Custom Spook Berry. Although it was the pair's first time showing together, they rose to the occasion and delivered an impressive performance.

"We got through it really well, and she was just really good for me in the pen," Joy said.

Next on the schedule for Joy and Twinkle is the Semi-Finals Qualifier for The Run for a Million here at the Derby, followed by the show in Waco in a few weeks.

When asked who she would like to thank, Joy shared:

"My parents and all the people at the barn, and a special thank you to Gunny Mathison for helping me buy the mare."
