Starting from the ground is definetely one of the hardest things to push through right next to raising a child. (personal opinion) I go through changes everyday and push myself to be as uncofortable as I possible can, if I dont want to do it then I will make myself do it anyway, as long as its going to push me in the right direction. Inspire, encourage, listen, think, observe. Repeat.
