Our Hinton and Hydro female personnel participated in specialized training yesterday, led by female firefighters from OKC Metro. The training focused on techniques tailored to accommodate the physiological differences of female firefighters, enhancing their ability to perform the required tasks. Thank you to Renegade Inferno Society of Empowerment for identifying and addressing this need.

We would like to extend our congratulations to three of our firefighters who have successfully completed the EMT-Basic class at Western Technology Center in Weatherford. They will soon be taking their National Registry Test to become licensed EMTs. The graduates wanted to take a photo with a few of their instructors. 😄

The Hinton Fire Department recently sent two members to an Electric Vehicle Safety class hosted by the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association in Watonga. As electric vehicles become increasingly prevalent on our roads, they necessitate specialized precautions when handled during emergency situations.
