We couldn’t be more proud to see our own Jeff DeFehr recognized by the Oklahoma Museums Association with a Certificate of Recognition for his extraordinary service to the Stafford Air & Space Museum! 🚀❤️

Since joining the SASM Foundation Board of Directors in 2014, Jeff has given so much of his time, leadership, experience and heart to this museum. He is someone who truly shows up—serving on committees, volunteering at events, helping guide major projects, working through challenges and always believing in what SASM can become.

Jeff’s impact can be seen throughout our museum, but his greatest contribution may simply be the years he has spent helping us grow, dream bigger and continue building for the future.

We are incredibly grateful for Jeff, Melanie and the entire DeFehr family and so happy to see him receive this well-deserved recognition.

Thank you to the Weatherford Daily News for helping us celebrate Jeff and share his story with our community!

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Constitution 🇺🇸

Today, Mayor Mike Brown had the privilege of presenting a Proclamation declaring September 17–23, 2026, as Constitution Week in the City of Weatherford! 📜🇺🇸

Constitution Week is an opportunity for our community to pause and remember the importance of the United States Constitution and the freedoms and liberties it protects. We are grateful to the Daughters of the American Revolution for their dedication to preserving our nation’s history and encouraging citizens to learn more about this remarkable document. ❤️🤍💙
