Off the dome. Continuing to work with only loose ideas to see what evolves. Elliptical lattice domes are bending my brain, out of 6 I hope to get one I’m happy with, but in the spirit of this domestic work, the screw ups are in and showing the struggle, but the overall design doesn’t actually care about the imperfections. And this feels great.

Endeavored, on a whim, to make a penguin out of a tube. I have never moved tubing like this before. The struggle was real. The outcome underwhelming. The line between greatness and failure is so thin, and yet miles wide, and sometimes the difference is skillful navigation, fate, intention, and state of mind. When we win, it’s prolly all those things conspiring, and standing on a pile of failures and successes miles high. Being humbled is also growth.
