Facts don’t seem to matter anymore.
The following are statistics copied from a talk given by Heather Mac Donald a Thomas W. Smith Fellow at the Manhattan Institute and a contributing editor of City Journal. I’m freely using her talk and wish to recognize her contribution to this dialogue. All her remarks are in quotations.
The problem with America is not telling the truth. Everyone, from the President on down to the bag lady lies without a second thought. Under normal circumstances we accept this as inevitable due to man’s falling nature. But because the lies are becoming dangerous in themselves we need to take a closer look at what we are being told.
“Every year approximately 6,000 blacks are murdered. This is a number greater than that of Whites and Hispanic homicide victims combined even though blacks make up only 13% of the national population. Blacks are killed at 6 times the rate of Whites and Hispanics combined. In Los Angeles blacks between 20 and 24 die at 20 to 30 times the national mean. Now who is killing them? Not the police, not White citizens but other Blacks! The astronomical black death by homicide rate is a function of the Black crime rate.”
“Black males between the ages of 14 and 17 commit homicide at ten times the rate of White and Hispanic males combined. Blacks of all ages commit homicide at a rate 8 times that of Whites and Hispanics combined and at a rate 11 times that of Whites alone.” Police could end all lethal uses of force tomorrow and it would have a none effect on the black death rate. “According to data compiled by The Washington Post the nation’s police killed 987 civilians in 2015.” “Whites were 50% or 493 of the total. Blacks were 26% or 258. Most of the police shootings White and Black were armed or otherwise threatening the officer with lethal force.”
“The Black violent crime rate would predict that 26% of police victims would be black.” It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that police will interact most often with violent criminals, armed suspects and those resisting arrest in Black Neighborhoods. “In America’s 75 largest counties in 2009, for example, black’s constituted 62% of all robbery defendants, 45% of all assault defendants-but only 15% of the population.”
“Moreover, 40% of all cop killings have been black in the last decade leaving a larger proportion,60%, of White and Hispanic deaths, but of course you won’t hear that on the evening news. 12% of all White and Hispanic homicide victims are killed by police compared to 4% of all Black. If we’re going to have a “Lives Matter” movement it should be “White and Hispanic Lives Matter.”
The morons at the ACLU, Obama, Sharpton, Jackson and all the other race baiters hold that law enforcement actions are racists if they don’t mirror population data. New York City puts that argument to rest. “Blacks make up 23% of New York City’s population, but commit 70% of all robberies, and 66% of all violent crime according to victims and witnesses.” “Add Hispanic shootings and you account for 98% of all illegal gunfire in the City.” “Whites are 33% of the city’s population but commit fewer than 2% of all shootings, and 5% of all violent crime. This means that every time the police are called out on a gun run-meaning that someone’s just been shot, they are being summoned to minority neighborhoods looking for minority suspects.”
On March 11th 2015 as protesters were once again converging on the Ferguson police headquarters demanding the resignation of the entire force because a criminal called Michael Brown, who was subsequently found to be guilty of trying to kill the police officer, a six-year-old boy named Marcus Johnson was killed a few miles away in a St. Louis park, the victim of a drive by shooting. No one protested his killing. Al Sharpton did not demand a federal investigation. Few people outside of his immediate community know his name.
The “Black Lives Matter” movement is a shame perpetrated by race baiters. Only when a police officer shoots a Black do the protesters come out. Other Black on Black crime is of no interest to them. They don’t even help the authorities in capturing the perpetrators of Black on Black crime. The officer shooting merely give the protestors a reason to rob, kill and destroy and race baiters like those mentioned above are given a platform to spew their hate.
I doubt any responsible person will take hold of this for what it is and stand up to this type of thuggery produced by the hypocrites which the protesters are. Certainly not the spineless politicians in government who look for scapegoats at every turn in their effort to not confront the truth. We see the same affect when it comes to terrorism. Since 99% of all terrorist atrocities are perpetrated by Muslims, therefore when a terrorist action occurs who do you think we should be calling out? But God forbid you get accused of profiling. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, chances are you have a duck.
The people who were murdered in Orlando were killed by a Muslim Jihadist. Not a word about him or the fact that he was gay, which is a death sentence under Sharia law, by this spineless government. How about this for a motive: Under Islamic law homosexuality is punishable by death, but if you enter into the army of Allah as a jihadist you can redeem yourself. So go kill the infidels, in this case the lifestyle that caused him this trouble in the first place homosexuals, and you will gain entrance into paradise. I don’t know but it’s as good as any excuse as any. Just as murdering police officers because of some made up slight is good enough to rob, kill and destroy.
