💛 Meet the Founders Behind Akanimo Cancer Foundation 🎗️
Behind is a story of love, loss, courage, and a commitment to make a difference. This foundation was born from a deeply personal experience; the heartbreaking loss of their beloved son, Akanimo, to cancer.
Having walked the difficult and painful journey of childhood cancer themselves, the founders understand the fear, uncertainty, emotional pain, and challenges that families can face when a child is diagnosed with cancer.
But from their loss came a purpose.
They founded Akanimo Cancer Foundation with a hope that no parent would ever have to go through what they went through.
And where that cannot be prevented, no parent should have to go through it alone. 💛
Through awareness, education, community outreach, support, and advocacy, the foundation is committed to standing with children and families affected by cancer.
Their mission is rooted in a simple belief that "Every child deserves a chance. Every family deserves support. And no one should have to face childhood cancer alone".
What began from the pain of losing a son has become a legacy of hope for many other children and families. Today, as we continue to raise awareness and advocate for childhood cancer, we invite you to join us in keeping that hope alive.
