Two years ago today this blessing came into my life. We started from the very beginning and over the past two years I’ve built a relationship and progressed beyond my expectations after the trials that this sweet boy has been through. Beginning with a dangerous and undiagnosed respiratory infection after 2 weeks and countless tests that left him fighting for his life, he overcame his illness and after months off he began to progress again. Several months later he was diagnosed with both EPM and Lymes. Devastated with the results of his titers I decided after aggressive treatment to get him sound enough to be pasture happy. He had other plans. He miraculously recovered and insisted that he wanted a job. Very slowly and with supervision of his vet and body work specialist we started him back into work with no expectations and if at any point he went backwards we would stop work and make him a fancy pasture puff 😊. He had no intention of not having a job and he tried his best every day. With careful management he has succeeded and progressed beyond my wildest dreams and has been cleared to begin showing at the end of the year. I’m so blessed to have a horse with such a big heart, expressive personality and work ethic as my sweet Sinatra and I am so excited to see what the future holds for us. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and believed in him. It truly takes a village 💜. .hollowell Dr. Brian Garrett, Dr Megan Ross, Dr. Jennifer Godman Osborne Shamberger and Brooke Sonbert and for finding amusement in his quirks 😂
