When I was just a youngster, My grandfather started a small local business of cleaning out abandoned houses, garages, yards, etc. It was a 2 car garage that needed to be cleaned out to be torn down so the city could build the new overpass. I can remember that garage full of junk and trash. My younger brother, Father, and I were helping grandpa do this job. We threw away so much stuff. Then my brot
her and I found these old railroad spikes and we thought we were the coolest kids who found the coolest things. We played with them the rest of the job and even took them home with us and played with them more. To this day I still have my railroad spike from that job as a reminder or a token so to speak. That day was also the start of my “rat pack” collection. Over the last 20 years, I have collected millions of different items. Growing older through the years allowed me to change interest in what to collect. I have stuff from 5-10-15 years ago up to stuff I got last week. Although my interest in what I collected has changed, my interest in collecting has not, and I don’t see it changing in the near future. Now that I’m in my late 20’s with a wife and 2 children, I have realized I have quickly ran out of space. So I created this online business in hopes of selling what I have so I can make room for more. In the future at some point, I would like to open a shop down town to expand my business. But for right now, I work out of my garage at home. Thanks for taking the time to read my story. Please Like my page to show your support for a local business.
