July Activity Report!
CALLS OF NOTE:
7/4/26 2353 hrs., 7950 N. CR 9, Motor Vehicle Accident with Entrapment: Engine 91, Engine 92, PFA Tower 1, Engine 6, Battalion Chief 01, and UCHealth ambulances responded to a motor vehicle accident involving multiple reported patients. Upon arrival, Engine 91 found a single vehicle overturned onto its roof with one occupant trapped beneath the vehicle. Due to the complexity of the incident, additional PFA resources were requested immediately. Crews worked together to stabilize the vehicle, extricate the trapped patient, and provide treatment to all victims. A total of six patients were transported to area hospitals. Two patients sustained minor injuries, two suffered moderate injuries, and two sustained severe, life-threatening injuries. One of the critically injured patients was airlifted by LifeLine 1 to Medical Center of the Rockies (MCR).
7/12/2026 1606 hrs. 9974 NE Frontage Rd., Motor Vehicle Accident: Engines 91 and 92, along with UCHealth, responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle that had struck a building. Upon arrival, Engine 91 found a single vehicle that had left the roadway and crashed into an unoccupied silo-type structure. Crews provided patient care while simultaneously assessing the structural stability and safety of the damaged building. One patient was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. The property owner responded to the scene and assumed responsibility for securing the damaged structure.
7/15/2026 2158 hrs., I-15 at mm 286-288, Wildland Fire: Brush 913 and Brush 92 were dispatched to a wildland fire spreading off of the interstate. Units arrived to find approximately 2 acres burning over a 2 mile stretch of the highway. Quick attacks by first arriving crews and assistance from Larimer County Emergency Services kept the fires under control and were extinguished quickly. The cause of the fires was unknown.
