Have you heard the amazing news? A federal judge ruled that the government cannot cancel the Digital Equity Act's Competitive Grant Program! The resources we rely on to help our neighbors get online, secure devices, and learn digital skills are protected.

However, there is a painful downside to this ruling: The judge also ruled that ethnic minorities must be removed from the official list of "covered populations" targeted for this help. We know that the digital divide hits communities of color the hardest, making this aspect of the ruling incredibly frustrating.

While the legal battles continue, our mission at Sp‘q’n’i? does not change. We believe internet access is a fundamental right, and our doors remain open to everyone in our community who needs support. Drop a line in the comments if you stand with us in the fight for 100% digital inclusion!

Before sending money through Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or wire transfer, double-check who you’re talking to. Scammers often impersonate friends, family, or businesses.

When possible, call the person directly to confirm.
