Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair orchard frost protection wind machines. This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring our customers' equipment operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on wind machines.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.

Install new wind machines and upgrade existing units.

Conduct inspections and provide recommendations for preventive maintenance.

Maintain accurate service records and report findings to management.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.

Requirements:

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and travel to various orchard locations.

Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Welding and fabrication experience (a plus). CDL or Crane Experience (a plus)

We are looking for someone with mechanical experience who is detail-oriented. We work a 40-hour work week (4 - 10s) most of the year while we are servicing with lots of overtime in the spring. We are Located in Wenatchee, Washington and our service area covers Tonasket to Yakima to the Tri-Cities and beyond.

Position Details:
● $18-24/hour starting wage DOE
● Profit Sharing
● 2 weeks Paid Time off plus sick leave
● Medical Insurance
● Life insurance

These are the skills we are seeking:
● Experience as a mechanic personal or professional
● Experience with 12v electrical troubleshooting. PLC experience is a plus

Minimum Requirements:
● Be able to follow and understand direction
● Be dependable and a self-starter
● Have the ability to problem-solve
● Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs
● Climb a ladder and be able to work at heights (35 feet)
● Have good listening, hearing ability, as well as visual acuity
● Be able to pass a background check and drug test
● Have reliable transportation and be insurable

These skills would be a benefit:
● Crane certification / Experience
● CDL - Class A or B
● Welding / Fabrication

This is what a lot of our jobsites look like. If you were to drive by us, you may think that there a just some randomly parked vehicles. Not true. Most of the time we are completely replacing or rehabilitating utilities under the road way, without impeding traffic.
