Northern Flicker We use digital and social art forms to help people and organizations reveal their own flash of brilliance. We’re sweethearts.

Hi we're Nathan and Ada, the two wings that make up Northern Flicker. Some say couples can’t cope well working together, but we feel the topnotch teamwork that makes our personal relationship a success only bolsters a budding professional partnership. We are just enough alike that we share similar passions and values, but just enough different that our personalities and life experience contrast an

d compliment one another. With Nathan’s background in film-making, web and graphic design, plus Ada’s experience and connections into the world of peace building, leadership and sustainability, we feel that together we have a valuable assortment of skills to offer. While there are many creative agencies out there, what sets us apart is that we are compelled to serve those people and organizations that do incredibly important work in the world but might not be able to afford the media and consulting services we offer. In a search to find a sustainable means of offering our services in this way, we came up with an experimental method of exchange that feels win-win and a worthy cause to propel this unfolding adventure. We are excited to see the places Northern Flicker will take us and to encounter the people and stories that will inspire us all to greater heights.

It makes us feel really good when we get to help tell the story of people making a REAL difference. CASA's are indeed A POWERFUL VOICE for CHILDREN and they are a gift to our community. Please watch and share this video so that more people can learn about the Chelan-Douglas CASA Program , and more kids facing abuse and neglect can find the love and support they need.

Lunar Eclipse! One of our favorite subjects to capture is nature, so last night was a treat! The moon was moving so fast across the sky that since we don't have any fancy robotics to have the camera follow, we had to get a few separate shots to document the full process. Our first podcast!
We recently finished an incredible weekend at Summer Camp with the The Happy Startup School. We are still reeling from all the powerful love of so many beautiful people. The support and feedback Ada and I received at this gathering has renewed our spirits and passion to share the gift of sound and story with passion and honesty.

A few weeks before the event, we did this podcast with one of the co-founders, Carlos, who helped us explore our story and how we came from starting up Northern Flicker to sharing music full time. If you are interested to learn more about us, give it a listen!
