Today I am grateful for:

1) waking up ~ to another beautiful day in my love filled home with my amazing puppy and filled with a faith I know will carry me through.

2) business cards ~ arrived today and made me smile ~ its been a minute since I was at this level and I have to say I'm truly loving the ability to contribute!

3) park time ~ raced home from work, grabbed the baby dog, hopped into comfy clothes and off we went for a couple hours until the dark and cold sent me packing. brrrr my feet were ice!

4) sharing ~ I love that all 3 of my guys gather around me while I'm cooking dinner, they love sharing bits and bobbles and I love them.

5) refunds ~ for pants that are too big I ordered from Amazon, super grateful their process is so easy

6) learning ~ work is so full of learning it is really stimulating my brain which makes me super happy!

7) writing ~ still making time to do the things that outside of work make me smile, its important.

8) ambition ~ fueled by passion and guided by patience ~ it really should be my career tag line.

9) my higher power ~ for staying close and letting me know he is with me in all things I do these days.

10) full on smiles ~ every day in every way I am just enjoying this gift of extra years my higher power blessed me with when I finally put down the dope and booze.

May whatever you believe in keep you safe and loved while you rest.

A teacher gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The teacher then mixed all the balloons. The students were then given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon.

At that point, the teacher told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon.

The teacher said to the students: "These balloons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness, we'll find ours too."
